Is santa claus a boy or a girl? Wrong: santa is a furby.
Featuring Noel…. Noelle? (Haven’t settled on a name yet) in a little festive outfit I made for them on a whim. The embroidered holly leaves might get some embellishment at some point, and really I should have checked I actually even owned buttons of the right size before doing this (I had to improvise a bead and a toggle loop). But really I’m quite happy with how this all came out?
I promise I DO have art that’s not furby art, but fubbies are small and nubby and therefore easy to finish art of relatively quickly….

please remember this holiday season that a santa furby is a FOREVER pet. not a christmas pet. not a yule pet. not a stocking stuffer. are you willing to continuously supply them sugar cookies when they’re out of season? provide them with chimneys to climb up after it stops being a funny instagram-worthy video? bathe them daily in eggnog? give them a candy-cane based substrate in their cage? think before you buy.

the santa furby works<3 I feel pretty lucky since they were only taken out of the box once, and I know there’s a rare (but still present) glitch they can start with on rare occasions! Didn’t have to do anything special to start them up, just put in batteries<33
I’ve tested all their sensors and reactions and the only thing I haven’t gotten them to do yet is react to changes in light level. Everything else is perfect! They have the deep voice type and they yawn and sing quietly when left alone. Very good and pure friend totally worth twenty years of waiting. c’:

Went through and did some cleanup in my PayPal, taking the tracking info off of things that didn’t need them (which is basically all my stuff bc it’s digital) so head’s up if you get a PayPal email from me, it’s automatic and you can ignore it<3
For some time now (even before the purge) by blog has been kinda borked, and my reblog/edit post buttons have been missing. I need to work out how to fix that,
BUT I did work out how to edit posts even if you for some other reason can’t do so:
there are outdated site posts saying something like ‘take the post and change the /post/ part of the url and replace it with /edit/’ but this doesn’t work. What you need to do is take the number string that is part of the post, and place it like this:
https://www.tumblr.com/edit/NUMBERHERE
This will take you to the normal ‘editing posts from your dashboard’ view. You can’t delete a post like this, but you can change the content. I had some old not-worksafe stuff that I was having trouble getting to bc of how deep I’d have to do in the post view to reach it, so I just replaced the content and changed the posts to private to clean up my blog<3
My lovely wife got me the best early christmas gift<3 Apparently it took her a few weeks and a lot of lost eBay bids to get a Santa Furby in our budget range<333 He supposedly works (taken out of the box to test before sending) so I’ll probably try and fire him up on xmas day itself to celebrate. c:
